INTRODUCTION.
"Chicas Malas" presents a major documentary feature on a
sub-culture of Mexican women who work in the sex industry. The women are
subjected to the horrendous working conditions of the industry. They are
pimped and forced to work in unsafe environments. They are abused and
exploited at every turn. Those that seek an escape from this brutal
industry have no chance of finding any other work. On the other hand,
when these women are at work, they are treated like an extension of a
man's arm or a tool.
"Chicas Malas" is a work that shows the most effective way to
speak to the subject; not just in written or visual media, but by
actually being there, speaking to the people that have these stories to
tell. In the film, those that would argue that the documentary format is
inferior or a more suitable medium for telling these stories can only
take that view by remaining in the outside world. The best way to view
"Chicas Malas" is to walk amongst these women, to speak to them, to
hear their stories. The women interviewed are remarkably candid and
free. In fact, they will even make statements of which you might not
think possible.
"Chicas Malas" will take a critical look at the Mexican
government's immigration policies. The people that the women come from
have a different history and culture than those that hold power within
the Mexican government today. The film will also show what is happening
with Mexican immigration to the United States and the "hueycism" that
this so-called "Free Trade" agreement is causing. Finally, the film
will not only look at the sex industry itself, but will also
highlight some of the many other industries that use the women in sex
capitals.
From the point of view of this film, the director and writer are
most interested in human nature, specifically the power that humans have
over one another. To further their objective, they will present a
different face of Mexico. The film will show Mexico as a prosperous
nation, filled with beautiful women. The women will be shown in their
beautiful surroundings, where they are safe and have resources to help
them. On the other hand, they will show Mexico as a place where the
women are forced to work and can be victimized at any moment. Through

En hablando del tema, hemos surgido como una respuesta al asombro mundial por la galería de Chicas Malas, una mezcla de figuras masculinas y femeninas de sudamerica, que ha tenido el mayor impacto en nuestro medio. Somos una eficaz organización de trabajo que nos basa en la comunidad, las experiencias reales y nuestros valores, dando una voz directa a las mujeres que, día a día, nos rodean.
Como adolescentes, nos relacionábamos como hombres y mujeres adultos, como compañeros de trabajo, como cariñosos y amigos, los amigos de familia. No tuvimos los conceptos sexistas de la cultura de entonces. Como niños, también tuvimos una amistad con los de nuestro sexo. A la edad de 12 años, teníamos una mujer en nuestro grupo de amigos, pero éramos todos hombres. Teníamos amigos de ambos sexos, y no importaba cuál era el sexo de ellos. Todas las mujeres eran amigas. El asunto se discutió poco y los niños fueron quienes pelearon por los privilegios.
Por lo tanto, supe que era importante ser amigo de las mujeres. Como adolescentes, nos vimos en la fase del amor, y al final de nuestra adolescencia, estuvimos en la fase del amor con las mujeres, y eso nos mantuvo unidos, aunque fuera solo por unos días. El
